Jarom Brand

At Black Swan Effect we make digital puppets, or when we want to sound cool, digital action figures. As a team of highly passionate and somewhat dorky riggers, we are dedicated to bringing your vision of your characters to life.

Part of our secret sauce for creating such appealing, flexible and stable animation rigs is our proprietary rig builder, Armature. We are always swimming in code while we continue the development of Armature to insure that our quality and speed are cutting edge.

I formed this company to accommodate my freelance projects. I do all things necessary to get the project done; including, but not limited to, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing.

Responsible for all elements within the Animation Department, including modeling, rigging, tool writing, and animation. Once all work is approved I push the content down the pipeline and when needed, convert all assets to the appropriate format to be rendered and composited.
